Virginia Martinez, MA, LLP, CCTP

Counseling Psychologist
Brief info

Virginia is a Counseling Psychologist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She uses an integrative approach including psychodynamic theory, ACT, CBT, and DBT.

I am a Counseling Psychologist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and I work collaboratively with you to co-create your authentic life. If you are struggling with your mental health, know that restoration, clarity, and healing are all possible.

I am a psychodynamic therapist who utilizes an integrative approach to therapy to help meet your unique needs. I often implement different evidence-based approaches to treatment including cognitive-behavioral (CBT), dialectical-behavior (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapies (ACT)s.

I offer a non-judgmental space to work through issues such as disordered eating and body image concerns, post-traumatic stress, trauma healing, anxiety, and depression.  I am passionate about helping individuals heal their relationship to food and their bodies using the principles of intuitive eating and take a Health at Every Size approach to holistic well-being.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy travelling and nature – especially travelling to the mountains to hike! I am an avid reader, enjoy music, and spending time with family and friends.

When we become empowered, we are able to be present and thrive in our lives.

If you are ready to reconnect with your body and rekindle your sense of self-worth, I hope to hear from you!
