I have worked as a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in eating disorders for the past 12 years. In addition to maintaining a full outpatient practice, I have developed numerous workshops, group programs and treatment options for patients throughout Michigan. I feel honored to work in this field and assist others in their healing process. In my outpatient therapy work, I integrate evidence-based practices while also collaborating with clients to define their personal recovery journey.
Throughout the years, I have enjoyed speaking internationally on topics such as family-based treatment for eating disorders, mental health advocacy, and integrating technology into eating disorder treatment. I always value the opportunity to train students and supervise clinicians, and passing along the passion for eating disorder work!
Through my professional endeavors, I have remained committed to raising awareness of eating disorders, reducing the stigma of mental health, and increasing available resources and support available for those suffering from an eating disorder.
I truly believe full recovery from an eating disorder is possible.
Outside of the therapy office, you will find me doing anything outside, most likely skiing or hiking. I enjoy traveling with my family, playing with my young children and drinking lattes.
